Excellence in Education (EIE) Funds

Excellence in Education funds strengthen school communities by awarding grants for creative and innovative educational programs, recognition of achievement, and community involvement in schools. These funds are available to public and private schools in 16 Southern Wisconsin communities, with multiple named funds having specific annual deadlines.

Eligibility

  • notes: Applications accepted from school personnel in designated school districts during individual district's open grant cycle. Grants awarded to public and private schools in Argyle, Belmont, Black Hawk, Darlington, Elkhorn, Evansville, Hillsboro, Iowa-Grant, Janesville, Mineral Point, Monroe, Monticello, New Glarus, North Crawford, Parkview, and Pecatonica communities in Southern Wisconsin. Funds support projects and programs outside normal operating budgets.
