Climate Ready Program

The California State Coastal Conservancy's Climate Ready Program funds projects that mitigate climate change impacts and build resilience along the California coast. The program supports planning and implementation of nature-based adaptation strategies, wildfire resilience projects, and multi-benefit coastal restoration efforts through a rolling pre-application process.

Eligibility

  • notes: Local communities, tribes, nonprofits, agencies, and other partners eligible. Program prioritizes projects benefiting vulnerable communities with limited capacity to plan and implement adaptation projects. Projects must relate to coastal climate resilience including sea level rise adaptation, wildfire resilience, nature-based adaptation, natural infrastructure, or rangeland/agricultural adaptation.
