Northeast Michigan Youth Advisory Council (NEMYAC) Grant

NEMYAC awards approximately $50,000 annually to local nonprofits for youth-related programs and projects in four Michigan counties. The Youth Advisory Council, composed of about 50 students and seven advisors, manages the grant-making process using permanently endowed funds from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Eligibility
- notes: Organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organizations, schools, or government agencies serving youth in Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, or Presque Isle counties in Michigan. Religious organizations eligible only if they serve the general public without sectarian overtones. Grants are for future projects only, not routine operating needs, budget deficits, or completed projects. No grants to individuals.
