Sustainability Grants

The Door County Community Foundation offers Sustainability Grants to provide operational support for charities serving Door County residents. Grants typically range from $2,500 to $5,000 and can support salary costs, equipment, infrastructure, and program delivery across multiple focus areas including arts, children & youth, education, environment, aging, health, and historic preservation.
Eligibility
- notes: Applicants must be qualified public charities or units of government serving Door County, Wisconsin. Individuals and groups that are not qualified public charities or units of government do not qualify. Religious organizations may apply but activities must not advance a particular religious belief. Grants cannot be used for retiring debt, loans, re-granting programs, multi-year commitments, fundraising expenses, capital campaigns, or endowment grants (unless special circumstances apply). Each charity is limited to one application per grant cycle.
