The Copernicus Foundation Music Grant Program provides funding to enhance and sustain musical opportunities for everyone in Portage County, with priority given to projects that expand music access for youth. Grants support creative music projects including instrument availability, music-related technology, and exposure to music for underserved populations.
Eligibility
- notes: Eligible applicants must propose creative music projects that provide quality music activities/experiences, elevate musical opportunities through instruments and technology, expose youth to music (especially those who may not otherwise experience it), or support local musicians. Projects must address a specific music need and be completed within one year of application. Priority given to projects impacting youth. Ineligible: operational requests, ongoing year-after-year funding for the same project, and administrative overhead costs that should be provided by the organization.
