Point of Pride's Annual Transgender Surgery Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming surgery. The program is a scholarship-like grant that covers surgical costs for eligible procedures performed in the United States. Applications open November 1 and close November 30 each year.
Eligibility
- notes: Applicants must identify as transgender (including non-binary, genderqueer, etc.), be 18 or older at time of surgery, demonstrate financial need, show past attempts at affording care, and have surgery in the US with a US-based surgeon on or after March 1 of the following year. No citizenship requirement; international applicants welcome but must travel to US for surgery.
