The Women's and Girls' Fund at Kern Community Foundation is accepting Letters of Intent for its 2026–2027 competitive grant cycle, allocating approximately $100,000 with maximum awards of $25,000 per organization. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or have a fiscal sponsor, serve women and/or girls in Kern County, and align with the fund's focus areas of Mental Health & Social Emotional Learning, Life Skills & Economic Mobility, Health Education & Safety, and Priority Populations.

Eligibility

  • notes: Organizations must have 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation or a fiscal sponsor; must have a presence in Kern County; must benefit women and/or girls in Kern County; must meet Kern Community Foundation's eligibility guidelines. Grantees who received WGF grants in Spring 2025 may not apply for WGF 2026 funding. Previous awardees with outstanding follow-up reports must complete them before applying.
