Aware & Prepare provides funding to support disaster preparedness and emergency management initiatives in Santa Barbara County. Eligible organizations must be members of the Santa Barbara County Emergency Manager's Committee or Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) and demonstrate a history of collaboration on preparedness efforts.

Eligibility

Applicants must demonstrate a history of collaborating on preparedness efforts with key nonprofit organizations and government agencies in Santa Barbara County. Funding priorities include: Public Education & Awareness, Preparedness (Governmental and Non-Governmental), Emergency Public Information, Volunteers, Authority/Management/Operational Area Coordination, and Resources and Personnel.
