Georgia Grants

Point of Pride's HRT Access Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. Recipients receive 18 months of HRT-related care including telemedical visits, lab work, medical letters, and prescription cost coverage through partner providers.

The Greater Rome Impact Fund provides grants to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Floyd County, Georgia that address significant community needs and improve quality of life. The 2025 cycle anticipates awarding over $100,000 total across multiple funds, with applications due by August 31, 2026.

The Alice Huffard Richards Fund supports enhanced life in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard County communities through targeted investments in Early Child Development, the Environment, and Civic & Community Leadership. Applications open August 15, 2026, with a deadline of September 26, 2026. Note: This is the final grant cycle; no grants will be made after 2027.

The Knight Foundation Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, awards approximately $90,000 annually to support informed and engaged communities in Milledgeville-Baldwin County, Georgia. Grants support civic engagement, public spaces, talent retention, and connecting community assets through design, entrepreneurship, and the arts.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia administers two main grant programs: competitive Community Grants awarded through local affiliates in Whitfield, Bartow, and Gordon Counties (typically $1,000–$4,000), and Operation Round Up grants administered for North Georgia Electric Membership Foundation (up to $10,000). Both programs operate on defined seasonal cycles with clear application windows.

The Community Foundation for the CSRA's Community Grants program provides funding for nonprofit projects and programs serving residents in Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie and Burke counties in Georgia and Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. The program operates on an annual cycle with applications opening in July and closing in mid to late August, with awards announced in early January.
