Rx Kids is a citywide cash assistance program providing unconditional cash payments to pregnant people and families with infants in Kalamazoo. Eligible participants receive $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 per month for the baby's first year, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
Eligibility
- notes: Must be a resident of the City of Kalamazoo (not just postal address). Must be 18+ years old or 16+ with parental/guardian consent. Must be currently pregnant at 16+ weeks OR guardian of a child 6 months old or younger born on or after February 1, 2025. Documentation required: identity, residency verification, and pregnancy/guardianship status with projected due date or birth date.
