Annual Competitive Grants

Community Foundation Tampa Bay's annual competitive grants program provides funding to eligible nonprofits across five focus areas: Economic Opportunity, Environmental Resiliency and Sustainability, Physical Health and Mental Wellbeing, Quality Child and Youth Education, and Vibrant and Engaged Communities. The two-stage process requires submission of a Letter of Intent (due 1/7/2026) followed by a full application for selected organizations.

Eligibility

  • notes: Must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, up-to-date with IRS 990 filings (filed at least one fiscal year), serve Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, or Citrus counties, apply under own tax exempt EIN, and be in compliance with previous Community Foundation Tampa Bay grant requirements. Organizations must be legally established nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status.
