The Cass County Community Foundation offers two annual grant programs: Opportunity Grants (up to $5,000) and Competitive Grants ($5,001+) for nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations serving Cass County. Grants support projects in education, humanity enhancement, and community development that benefit local citizens.

Eligibility

  • notes: Applicant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization doing business in Cass County, Indiana. Grant must benefit Cass County citizens. Organization must have a defined purpose, leadership, and organizational structure. Religious organizations may apply if grant is for general community benefit (e.g., soup kitchens, daycare). Tax-supported organizations may apply only for projects not funded by tax revenues or legally mandated items. Does not fund operating money except for startups/seed funding.
