The Door County Community Foundation is accepting applications for Sustainability Grants through its Growing Older Fund to support initiatives addressing aging populations and fostering intergenerational connections in Columbia, Grant, and Polk counties, Wisconsin. Awards average $2,500 with no stated minimum or maximum, and applications are due the 4th Monday of September at 4:00 p.m.

Eligibility

  • notes: Applicants must be qualified public charities or units of government serving Columbia County, Grant County, or Polk County, Wisconsin. Religious organizations may apply if the project does not advance a particular religious belief. Applications must be signed by the organization's Chief Executive (highest ranking paid staff, principal for schools, or board president for all-volunteer organizations). One application per cycle per organization. Does not fund: debt/budget deficit retirement, loans, re-granting programs, multi-year commitments, activities advancing particular religious beliefs, individuals or unqualified groups, pre-award activities, fundraising expenses, capital campaigns, or endowment grants (unless special circumstances exist).
