The Community Foundation of Lorain County offers multiple grant cycles for nonprofit organizations serving Lorain County residents, including Community Grant Cycles (Arts & Culture, Education & Youth Development, Health & Human Services, Strengthening Lorain County), Affiliate Fund Cycles, and a monthly rolling Mini-Grant program. Applicants can access the online grant portal to submit applications by specified deadlines throughout the year.
Eligibility
- notes: Must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations located in or serving Lorain County, Ohio residents. Organizations outside Lorain County must detail the Lorain County residents served. Prior grant reporting requirements must be fulfilled before submitting new applications. One application per calendar year for Community Grant Cycles (though additional Affiliate Fund grants permitted). Ineligible: debt reduction, loans, for-profit businesses, benefit tickets, annual appeals, political campaigns, religious activities. Scholarships only through accredited educational institutions.
