Garden Chapel Donor Advised Funds Grant

The Pella Community Foundation awards grants through its Garden Chapel Donor Advised Funds to support creative and innovative programs that enhance quality of life in the Pella, Iowa area, particularly those providing bereavement services, hospice, and end-of-life services. Grants are made once per year with applications due by October 1st for November funding decisions.

Eligibility

  • notes: Organizations must be: (1) A nonprofit, legally tax-exempt organization with IRS 501(c)(3) status; (2) Located in and/or primarily serving clients in Pella, Iowa and the surrounding area; (3) Serve a charitable purpose by enhancing quality of life in the Pella area by providing bereavement services, hospice, and end-of-life services. Grants support creative and innovative programs, not annual operating budgets, projects normally included in budgets, significant duplications of existing initiatives, current budget support, deficit elimination, debt reduction, or completed projects.
