McMurry Continuing Staff Education Grant

The Carol McMurry Library Endowment provides competitive continuing education grants for individuals working in public libraries and other library settings. Awards up to $2,000 per calendar year support coursework, certifications, conferences, and professional development that enhance job performance.

Eligibility

  • notes: Applicants must be employed or have volunteered for 12 consecutive months at a public library, academic library, special library, public school library, or public archive at time of application. Priority given to public library employees. Conference attendance support available once every three years; international conferences not eligible. Grant funds may support substitute worker costs to maintain library operations during absence.
