Community Foundation of the Lowcountry Impact Grant

Offered by COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF THE LOWCOUNTRY INC

Competitive grants designed to stimulate and launch new programs, enhance existing services, or invest in capital projects that serve marginalized members of communities in the Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, or Greater Bluffton area. Grants typically have 12-month terms and request budgets greater than $10,000.

Eligibility

  • notes: Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit not classified as a private foundation; must serve people who live and/or work in Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, or Greater Bluffton area; must attend an Impact Information Session within 12 months of application deadline; must have a profile on GuideStar or The Giving Marketplace; must have a social justice statement in place; must receive an Access Code from Community Investment staff. Will not fund general operating support, sectarian/religious activities, political activities, grants to individuals, endowments, fundraising campaigns, special events, scholarships, or staff positions.
