The Bargains Unlimited Charitable Fund provides grants averaging $25,000 (up to $100,000 for exceptional projects) to support working people in Door County and enrich the quality of life for seniors. Funded by proceeds from the Bargains Unlimited resale shop in Sister Bay, the program accepts applications on a seasonal basis through winter and summer grant cycles.

Eligibility

  • notes: Applicants must be qualified public charities or units of government. Must serve working people of Door County, enrich quality of life for seniors in Door County, or enhance lives of residents of Serenity Spring Senior Living. Preference given to projects benefiting Northern Door County (towns of Egg Harbor and Sevastopol, and all municipalities to the north). Does not fund: debt/budget deficits, loans or re-granting programs, multi-year commitments, activities advancing particular religious beliefs, individuals or non-qualified groups. Charities limited to one application per cycle. Chief Executive or equivalent leadership must sign application.
