Fund for Omaha

The Fund for Omaha provides grants up to $25,000 to local nonprofit organizations working to strengthen communities through improved access to essential services, economic opportunity, housing, maternal health, and mental/behavioral health. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations with annual budgets of $5 million or less serving the Omaha metropolitan area.

Eligibility

  • notes: Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations providing services in the Omaha metropolitan area (Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties). Organizations must have annual operating budgets of $5 million or less. Organizations may work with a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent to receive funds. Prior year recipients are eligible to reapply.
