About this grant
The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) offers Technical Assistance Grants to reimburse eligible organizations for technical assistance provided to regions under the Solid Waste Management Act of 1991. Funds support the development or updating of Solid Waste Plans and related regional planning and data work. No matching funds are required.
Eligibility details
- Notes: Eligible applicants are the University of Tennessee County Technical Assistance Service (CTAS), the University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS), Development Districts, counties and solid waste regions, and the Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD). Applicants must demonstrate how they will support and improve regional solid waste management planning and implementation.
