New Mexico Grants

Point of Pride's HRT Access Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. Recipients receive 18 months of HRT-related care including telemedical visits, lab work, medical letters, and prescription cost coverage through partner providers.

The Emergency Action Fund for Food Insecurity provides critical support to nonprofits, educational institutions, and government entities serving families impacted by food insecurity and the pause in SNAP benefits in New Mexico. Awards are made on a rolling basis as funds are raised, with remaining funds directed to food banks statewide to strengthen long-term food security.

The Albuquerque Community Foundation awards annual grants to nonprofits serving the Greater Albuquerque Metropolitan Area (Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia counties) across seven fields of interest. Organizations must have been in existence for at least three years and have an annual operating budget of $8 million or less to apply.

Point of Pride's Annual Transgender Surgery Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming surgery. The program is a scholarship-like grant that covers surgical costs for eligible procedures performed in the United States. Applications open November 1 and close November 30 each year.
