The Erie County Community Foundation offers community grants to support projects serving Erie County, Ohio residents. Applications are accepted twice yearly with February 1 and August 1 deadlines through an online portal. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, governmental entities, churches, schools, and other tax-exempt organizations.
Eligibility
- notes: Projects must serve Erie County, Ohio residents. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits, governmental entities, educational facilities, or churches/recognized religious entities. Churches, schools, and governmental entities covered by group exemptions are eligible with proof of group exemption letter. Organizations with outstanding grant reports, prior funding in same calendar year (without approval), or located outside Erie County without local collaboration letter will be declined. Grants cannot fund advertising, annual campaigns, debt reduction, medical research, political/lobbying activities, sectarian religious purposes, or fundraising event tickets.
