Point of Pride's HRT Access Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. Recipients receive 18 months of HRT-related care including telemedical visits, lab work, medical letters, and prescription cost coverage through partner providers.

The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation awards two annual grants to nonprofit agencies serving youth and children in the Greater Lynchburg area: a $5,000 Stuart J. Turille Youth Philanthropy Award and a $10,000 Wells Fargo Youth Philanthropy Award. Applications are accepted via an online portal between October 15 and November 15, with finalists conducting site visits in January.

The Century Fund provides an annual grant of $100,000 to one nonprofit organization in the Lynchburg area and surrounding counties for a transformational project that fundamentally changes how the organization functions and creates significant positive impact. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits or public educational institutions serving the specified region, and applications are accepted annually between February 1-28.

TCFHR's annual grant cycle connects 501(c)(3) nonprofits in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County with competitive grants and donors. Organizations submit one application to access restricted Community Grants in specific fields and unrestricted funding opportunities, with awards announced in late November and early December.

Reshaping Futures Grants provide up to $500,000 over 1-5 years to support transformative approaches to advancing racial equity in Charlottesville and surrounding counties in Virginia. Funding can support general operations, programming, expansion, capacity building, experimentation, and piloting. Applications begin with Letters of Intent in early 2027, followed by invitation-only co-development of final applications.

The Our Children Fund provides financial assistance for foster care children in Fairfax County (ages birth-17) and young adults (ages 18-21) without permanency to support their unmet medical, social, emotional, and educational needs. Eligible expenses include afterschool activities, camps, sports fees, dental and health services, and other normalizing experiences.

NOVA Parks Outdoor Kids Grants provide funding to Title-I schools in Northern Virginia to cover transportation and other costs for field trips to NOVA Parks properties. Eligible schools can select from designated parks and students experience SOL-based outdoor field trips during school hours at no cost.

Eligible items include afterschool activities, camps, sports fees, and health services. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and amounts are determined case-by-case.

Grants for Title-I public elementary and middle schools in Northern Virginia to fund field trips to NOVA Parks, covering transportation and other access barriers. Students participate in SOL-based outdoor educational experiences led by experienced naturalists at no cost to schools.

Point of Pride's Annual Transgender Surgery Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming surgery. The program is a scholarship-like grant that covers surgical costs for eligible procedures performed in the United States. Applications open November 1 and close November 30 each year.
