About this grant

North Carolina Emergency Management is accepting sub-applications from eligible local governments and tribes for flood mitigation projects on NFIP-insured personal homes damaged by Tropical Storm Chantal (DR-4889-NC). Funding supports acquisition/buyout, elevation, and mitigation reconstruction of repetitive-loss, severe repetitive-loss, or substantially damaged properties. Sub-applications are submitted through Salesforce and then forwarded by the State to FEMA.
