Professional Development Grants

Offered by CATHOLIC COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF MINNESOTA

The Catholic Community Foundation of Minnesota offers grants up to $1,000 for lay ecclesial ministers and $750 for Catholic school teachers to support professional development, religious formation, and spiritual growth programs. Applicants propose the professional development opportunity that best fits their needs, and grants are processed three times per year on a seasonal schedule.

Eligibility

  • notes: For Catholic school teachers: lay elementary and secondary Catholic school teachers of any subject employed in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis at time of class/program. For lay ecclesial ministers: lay ecclesial ministers serving a parish in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis in any department, working at the parish during the class/program (preference given to paid employees). Grants support religious formation, Catholic thought instruction, spiritual growth, graduate-level education, ministry certificates, continuing professional education, and spiritual direction. Checks made payable to parish or school, not individuals.
