Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Fund Grants

The Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Fund provides grants to eligible regional, community-based nonprofits and faith-based organizations responding to community needs after an officially-declared disaster in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and Colleton Counties. When a disaster is declared, a community-based advisory committee reviews and recommends grants for eligible agencies providing recovery and rebuilding services.

Eligibility

  • notes: Eligible applicants are regional, community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits, faith-based organizations, or equivalents that provide services to people during the recovery and rebuilding phases of disaster relief. Applicants must be located in and serve Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and/or Colleton Counties. Grants are only available when government officials declare a disaster in the service area.
