Women's Fund Grant Program

The Women's Fund Grant Program provides programming support grants to eligible entities that empower girls and women to achieve economic, social, and political equity. Grants are typically awarded in the $5,000 range for specific projects or programs taking place in Grand Forks, Walsh, or Polk County in 2027.

Eligibility

  • notes: Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with tax exempt status, fiscally sponsored nonprofit, public entity (library/school), or unit of government. Principal operations must be in Grand Forks, Walsh, or Polk County (unless prior approval received). Must have Board of Directors meeting regularly and demonstrate fiscal responsibility. Proposed projects must have specific objectives, predetermined cost, take place in and benefit residents of Grand Forks, Walsh, or Polk County, and occur between January 1, 2027 and December 31, 2027. Only one application permitted per applicant. Religious organizations cannot apply for religious purposes. Applications ineligible if non-program operating expenses exceed 10% of grant request.
