Community Solutions Grant Program

The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation's Community Solutions Grant Program supports organizations, programs, and initiatives that improve quality of life for East Metro residents across Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties. Grants provide general operating, program/project, and capital support with a focus on community & economic development, health & human services, and youth & education, with preference given to organizations addressing disparities and serving marginalized communities.

Eligibility

  • notes: Eligible applicants: 501(c)3 nonprofits, government entities, educational institutions, or organizations with a fiscal sponsor. Organizations must demonstrate impact or potential impact in East Metro (Dakota, Ramsey, Washington counties). For general operating support, organizations must primarily serve East Metro with 50%+ of services benefiting the region. For program/project support, any organization eligible if serving 50%+ East Metro residents. For capital support, organizations must demonstrate ongoing or potential significant benefit to East Metro residents. Does not fund sectarian religious programs, direct work of individuals, or organizations exclusively serving West Metro (Anoka, Carver, Hennepin, Scott counties).
