Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award

Offered by THE FOUNDATION OF THE BROOME-TIOGA ASSOCIATION FOR RETARDED CITIZENS

Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award recognizes young women ages 16-19 for demonstrating leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes. Zonta International offers 37 international awards of US$5,000 each year. The program operates at the Zonta club, district, and international levels, with applications submitted through local Zonta clubs.

Eligibility

  • notes: Women aged 16-19 on April 1st each year, living in a Zonta district or citizens of a Zonta country. Must demonstrate: active commitment to volunteerism, experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership (paid or unpaid), volunteer leadership achievements, knowledge of Zonta International and its programs, and support for Zonta's mission. Club members, Zonta International employees, and previous recipients are not eligible. Z club and Golden Z club members are eligible.
