Colleton County Grants

Point of Pride's HRT Access Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. Recipients receive 18 months of HRT-related care including telemedical visits, lab work, medical letters, and prescription cost coverage through partner providers.

The College Success Program provides scholarships of up to $10,000 per year to first-generation college students, along with ongoing support from a college success manager, mental health services, skill-building workshops, and career preparation. The program supports students throughout their collegiate journey to help ensure graduation and career success.

The Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Fund provides grants to eligible regional, community-based nonprofits and faith-based organizations responding to community needs after an officially-declared disaster in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and Colleton Counties. When a disaster is declared, a community-based advisory committee reviews and recommends grants for eligible agencies providing recovery and rebuilding services.

The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry offers Opportunity Grants up to $10,000 to nonprofit organizations in a four-county service area in South Carolina. These grants support new programs, project expansion, or capital improvements that serve marginalized community members.

Competitive grants designed to stimulate and launch new programs, enhance existing services, or invest in capital projects that serve marginalized members of communities in the Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, or Greater Bluffton area. Grants typically have 12-month terms and request budgets greater than $10,000.

The Community Foundation for the CSRA's Community Grants program provides funding for nonprofit projects and programs serving residents in Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie and Burke counties in Georgia and Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. The program operates on an annual cycle with applications opening in July and closing in mid to late August, with awards announced in early January.
