The Shaaron Kent Endowment Fund supports programs providing or enhancing end-of-life care services to low-income community members and people of color, as well as programs that educate individuals and families about end-of-life care, palliative care, and hospice. Established in 2012 to honor Shaaron Kent's legacy and generosity, the fund seeks diverse projects exploring death, dying, and grieving.

The Youth Fund is a youth-led grantmaking program managed by the Community Foundation of Lorain County, where 9th-12th grade students serve on an advisory board to recommend grants to nonprofits and organizations. The fund focuses on projects aligned with annual themes related to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, with the 2025–2026 cycle emphasizing sustainability. Grants support youth opportunities in areas such as environmental conservation, community gardens, and sustainable transportation.

The Community Foundation of Lorain County offers multiple grant cycles for nonprofit organizations serving Lorain County residents, including Community Grant Cycles (Arts & Culture, Education & Youth Development, Health & Human Services, Strengthening Lorain County), Affiliate Fund Cycles, and a monthly rolling Mini-Grant program. Applicants can access the online grant portal to submit applications by specified deadlines throughout the year.

The College Success Program provides scholarships of up to $10,000 per year to first-generation college students, along with ongoing support from a college success manager, mental health services, skill-building workshops, and career preparation. The program supports students throughout their collegiate journey to help ensure graduation and career success.

The Social Justice & Resiliency Grants provide funding to organizations serving Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities in Clark, Cowlitz, and Skamania counties in southwest Washington. Grants support operating costs, capacity building, and systemic change efforts for culturally specific and historically under-resourced organizations. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through a simple online form.

The Disaster Recovery and Rebuilding Fund provides grants to eligible regional, community-based nonprofits and faith-based organizations responding to community needs after an officially-declared disaster in Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and Colleton Counties. When a disaster is declared, a community-based advisory committee reviews and recommends grants for eligible agencies providing recovery and rebuilding services.

The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry offers Opportunity Grants up to $10,000 to nonprofit organizations in a four-county service area in South Carolina. These grants support new programs, project expansion, or capital improvements that serve marginalized community members.

Competitive grants designed to stimulate and launch new programs, enhance existing services, or invest in capital projects that serve marginalized members of communities in the Hilton Head Island, Daufuskie Island, or Greater Bluffton area. Grants typically have 12-month terms and request budgets greater than $10,000.

An emergency fund for Newark residents currently enrolled in postsecondary programs (colleges, universities, certification programs) who need assistance with unexpected costs not covered by financial aid, such as books, fees, transportation, and food. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with awards distributed four times per year, and students may apply for up to $5,000.

Field Trip New Jersey provides funding to help school children in underserved communities across New Jersey connect classroom learning with real-life experiences through trips to arts, culture, historical landmarks, nature preserves, and science institutions. Essex County schools and nonprofit organizations serving Essex County that are current Schumann Fund grantees can apply for up to $1,500 per academic year to cover field trip costs.

This fund supports programs serving children from prenatal to five years old and their families, with a focus on raising awareness of early childhood importance. Grants support direct service, systems-level work, and advocacy, with preference given to collaborative, preventative, innovative, or whole-family approaches that remove barriers for marginalized children.

The Appleton Education Foundation offers multiple grant programs to enhance education in the Appleton area, including Choose Your Focus Grants for creative educational projects, Professional Development grants for speakers and educator training, and Co-Curricular Education & Training Grants. Grants primarily benefit Appleton Area School District students and staff.

The Community Vision Fund is an unrestricted grant fund from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region designed to meet community needs and advance well-being in five Wisconsin counties. The fund offers multiple grant types including event sponsorships, capacity building grants, technical assistance grants, annual responsive grants, and visionary grants through a grant portal application process.

The Woods Family Music & Arts Grant provides up to $5,000 in general operating and project-specific support for eligible nonprofits and public schools in Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties to increase equitable access to high-quality arts and culture for youth and underrepresented audiences. Applications open August 1 with a September 30 deadline annually.

The Waterville Fund provides grant funding for qualified nonprofit organizations and agencies addressing community needs within the city limits of Waterville, Washington. Applications open October 1 each year with a December 1 deadline, and the fund aims to preserve, protect, and enhance quality of life for Waterville residents.

Community Foundation Tampa Bay's Critical Needs List allows nonprofits to submit requests for emergency funding up to $250,000 for unexpected, time-sensitive needs that disrupt service delivery or threaten organizational operations. Requests are matched with donations from fundholders and community philanthropists on a rolling basis rather than through a competitive process.

The Women's Fund provides grants to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and municipalities in Rock County, Wisconsin that serve the needs of women and girls through prevention and response programs. The fund supports initiatives such as training programs, support groups, mentoring programs, and resource identification with an annual application deadline of September 15.

The Knight Foundation Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, awards approximately $90,000 annually to support informed and engaged communities in Milledgeville-Baldwin County, Georgia. Grants support civic engagement, public spaces, talent retention, and connecting community assets through design, entrepreneurship, and the arts.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia administers two main grant programs: competitive Community Grants awarded through local affiliates in Whitfield, Bartow, and Gordon Counties (typically $1,000–$4,000), and Operation Round Up grants administered for North Georgia Electric Membership Foundation (up to $10,000). Both programs operate on defined seasonal cycles with clear application windows.

The Family Protection Fund at the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County offers two grant programs to support nonprofit organizations serving immigrant families: Legal Services and Crisis Support. Both programs will open for applications in Summer 2026 and support eligible nonprofits headquartered in or operating physical sites in Anne Arundel County.
