The Legacy Endowment's Community Fund provides special, out-of-cycle grants to nonprofit organizations for immediate-use projects, programs, and services that benefit residents of Bonsall, Fallbrook, and North San Diego County. The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation offers Community Grants to non-profit organizations, schools, libraries, and community groups throughout LaSalle, Bureau, and Putnam Counties in Illinois. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed quarterly, with successful applicants notified within four weeks after each quarter ends.

The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation (SRCCF) offers three types of grants: Community Grants for programs with significant impact on quality of life in the region, Art Grants for arts programs and performances, and Women Inspired Network Grants for programs that enhance and empower women and children. Aware & Prepare provides funding to support disaster preparedness and emergency management initiatives in Santa Barbara County. Eligible organizations must be members of the Santa Barbara County Emergency Manager's Committee or Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) and demonstrate a history of collaboration on preparedness efforts.

The Northern New York Community Foundation's Grants for Good program provides funding to local nonprofit organizations located in and serving Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties to support projects that directly impact their mission and community quality of life. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with four review cycles per year, with deadlines in February, April, July, and October.

The Northeast Michigan Youth Advisory Council awards approximately $50,000 annually to local nonprofit organizations for youth-related programs and projects in four counties. Grants up to $2,500 are available with application deadlines on January 15 and October 15.

Grants support direct assistance such as food, utilities, cleanup, and property repairs in response to the disaster.

The Nonprofit Effectiveness Grant Program provides funding to support nonprofits' internal organizational development, including capacity building, leadership development, and navigating organizational change. Grants up to $10,000 support projects in areas such as building internal capacity, leadership development, legal costs, communications support, and contingency planning for 501(c)(3) organizations serving Worcester County.

This grant supports nonprofit organizations exploring or implementing organizational restructures, mergers, or shared services models. Funding covers feasibility studies, technical assistance, due diligence, and professional fees for organizations in various stages of these strategic initiatives.

The Coastal Conservancy issues millions of dollars annually in grants for projects that restore and protect the California coast, expand public access, and enhance climate resilience. The Community Foundation for the CSRA's Community Grants program provides funding for nonprofit projects and programs serving residents in Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie and Burke counties in Georgia and Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. The program operates on an annual cycle with applications opening in July and closing in mid to late August, with awards announced in early January.

The Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation's Community Solutions Grant Program supports organizations, programs, and initiatives that improve quality of life for East Metro residents across Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington counties. Grants provide general operating, program/project, and capital support with a focus on community & economic development, health & human services, and youth & education, with preference given to organizations addressing disparities and serving marginalized communities.

The Western Indiana Community Foundation offers three types of grants to nonprofit organizations in Fountain and Vermillion Counties: Rapid Response Grants ($1-$2,500), Community Impact Grants ($2,501-$7,500), and Legacy Grants ($7,500+). Applications are accepted on a rolling monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis depending on grant type, with specific deadlines throughout the year.

The Erie County Community Foundation offers community grants to support projects serving Erie County, Ohio residents. Applications are accepted twice yearly with February 1 and August 1 deadlines through an online portal. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, governmental entities, churches, schools, and other tax-exempt organizations.

Rx Kids is a citywide cash assistance program providing unconditional cash payments to pregnant people and families with infants in Kalamazoo. Eligible participants receive $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 per month for the baby's first year, with applications accepted on a rolling basis.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Georgia awards competitive Community Grants to local qualified organizations in focus areas including Arts & Culture, Civics, Education, Social Services, Historic Preservation, and Environmental work. Grant awards typically range from $1,000 to $4,000 and serve organizations in Whitfield, Bartow, and Gordon Counties with two application cycles per year (Spring and Fall).
