Point of Pride's HRT Access Fund provides direct financial assistance to transgender individuals who cannot afford gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy. Recipients receive 18 months of HRT-related care including telemedical visits, lab work, medical letters, and prescription cost coverage through partner providers.

The Women's and Girls' Fund at Kern Community Foundation is accepting Letters of Intent for its 2026–2027 competitive grant cycle, allocating approximately $100,000 with maximum awards of $25,000 per organization. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits or have a fiscal sponsor, serve women and/or girls in Kern County, and align with the fund's focus areas of Mental Health & Social Emotional Learning, Life Skills & Economic Mobility, Health Education & Safety, and Priority Populations.

The Community Foundation of San Luis Obispo County offers several named grant programs with multiple application cycles throughout 2026. Programs include the One Community Fund (supporting immigrant-serving organizations), Women's Legacy Fund (advancing well-being of women and girls), Robert H. Janssen Youth & Youth Sports Fund, Growing Together LGBTQ+ Fund, and General Community Grants Program. All programs serve San Luis Obispo County and accept applications on a rolling seasonal basis with specific open dates.

The General Community Grants Program offers flexible general operating grants to local nonprofits serving San Luis Obispo County. Awards range up to $20,000 for single-year grants and up to $40,000 for two-year grants.

The Truckee River Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada, provides grants to protect and enhance the water quality and water resources of the Truckee River and its watershed. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits, nonprofit educational institutions, and governmental entities. The current RFP cycle has approximately $400,000 available, with grants typically ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, and proposals are due by July 24, 2026.

The Siembra Latinos Fund is an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County that provides grants to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and public agencies serving predominantly Latino residents in Monterey County. The fund supports program expansion, new programs, and operating support for organizations with proven community impact.

The Fund for Homeless Women supports nonprofit organizations providing programs and services for homeless women on the Monterey Peninsula. Grants range from up to $5,000 for emergency assistance to $10,000–$50,000 for initiatives expanding shelter, housing, and case management services.

The Kern River Valley Community Fund (KRVCF) is a permanently endowed fund managed by Kern Community Foundation that distributes grants to support social, economic, and environmental prosperity in the Kern River Valley region of Kern County, California. The next grant cycle opens in September 2026.

The Lincoln Community Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) organizations within the Western Placer Unified School District footprint (Lincoln/Sheridan area) for youth, education, seniors, and community benefit programs. Applicants must be in good standing with regulatory agencies, use funds within six months, and acknowledge the foundation's contribution.

The Humboldt Health Foundation (HHF) accepts proposals annually in August for its Community Health Grant Program, which supports projects that enhance physical and mental wellbeing of Humboldt County residents with priority given to organizations serving Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities. Grants range from $5,000–$8,000 on average, with a maximum of $15,000, and can support general operating costs, programs, services, advocacy, organizing, and racial equity initiatives.

The Humboldt Health Foundation offers nursing scholarships up to $1,500 for students from Humboldt County pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher advanced nursing degree program. A total of $5,000 is available annually, with preference given to BIPOC students and those committed to serving underserved and rural communities.

The Angel Fund provides small grants to support unmet health needs of Humboldt County residents through qualified sponsors such as social service agencies, school counselors, or medical providers. Grants typically range from $50–$250 and are made on a one-time basis per person per 365-day period.

Organizational Development grants support focused, strategic projects that strengthen a nonprofit's ability to be resilient. Monterey County nonprofits can receive funding for unique, non-recurring management or leadership situations such as leadership transitions, strategic planning, or infrastructure upgrades. Grants are reviewed by the Community Foundation for Monterey County's Center for Nonprofit Excellence staff.

The Native Cultures Fund provides grants to support California Indian culture bearers, artists, lifeways, and knowledge transmission, including the renaissance of California Native art, culture, sacred sites, and language development. Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000, with two granting rounds per year (spring and fall deadlines on April 15 and October 15).

The Legacy Endowment's Community Fund provides special, out-of-cycle grants to nonprofit organizations for immediate-use projects, programs, and services that benefit residents of Bonsall, Fallbrook, and North San Diego County. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis, with decisions made within 30 days.

Aware & Prepare provides funding to support disaster preparedness and emergency management initiatives in Santa Barbara County. Eligible organizations must be members of the Santa Barbara County Emergency Manager's Committee or Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) and demonstrate a history of collaboration on preparedness efforts.

The Coastal Conservancy issues millions of dollars annually in grants for projects that restore and protect the California coast, expand public access, and enhance climate resilience. Most grants are awarded through a rolling pre-application solicitation, with some programs offered through scheduled grant rounds. Grant amounts typically range from $200,000 to $5,000,000.

The California State Coastal Conservancy's Climate Ready Program funds projects that mitigate climate change impacts and build resilience along the California coast. The program supports planning and implementation of nature-based adaptation strategies, wildfire resilience projects, and multi-benefit coastal restoration efforts through a rolling pre-application process.

The California Arts Council provides grants to nonprofit organizations and government units to serve as regional administering organizations for the Individual Artists Fellowship program. These organizations will manage competitive grant programs that distribute funds to individual artists across California's eight geographic regions.
